Robertson’s expressive and freely applied use of paint creates vibrant and interesting paintings which capture the eye. I have recently been to a local gallery ‘Avalon Art, Marazion’ where I saw Robertson’s large pieces of work bursting with colour and capturing the energy and vibrancy of the paint.
I particularly like this piece ‘Poets Love Series 2, No. 1′ because of the sheer simplicity of the paint and the simplicity of the juxtaposing colours he has used to create this eye catching piece of work.
